Acute injury management

Acute injury management is the immediate treatment of the injury, e.g. lacerations, sprains or breaks, along with the follow through treatment and any necessary rehabilitation.

Throughout this process, our network providers liaise with the employer, insurer and any other relevant party to ensure transparency of treatment and care.

Injury management consultations (IMC)

An IMC will assess the situation, examine the worker and discuss possible solutions with all parties. This assessment assists in the return to work process when differences arise between the nominated treating doctor, the employer, insurer and/or the injured worker.

Such assessment is carried out by a registered medical practitioner know as an Injury Management Consultant.
