Services

Reforms were made to the CTP scheme in December 2017 to better support people injured on NSW roads. The focus of the new scheme is to ensure early support and recovery and our network enables injured parties, insurers and employers to have access to a range of providers to facilitate an injured parties return to pre-injury living and work.

For insurers, having a preferred medical network available like Medical Assist Network, means you've got access to comprehensive CTP injury management that is unique in its approach allowing for the measurement of key outcomes.

Acute injury management

Acute injury management is the immediate treatment of the injury, e.g. lacerations, sprains or breaks, along with the follow through treatment and any necessary rehabilitation.

Throughout this process, our network providers liaise with the insurer and any other relevant party to ensure transparency of treatment and care.

Permanent impairment assessments

A permanent impairment assessment involves medical assessments, reports and information about a person's injury and recovery. These assessments measure how much permanent change there has been to a person's body as a result of the injury sustained.

These assessments can only be completed by an accredited SIRA CTP Permanent Impairment Assessor.
